Saturn is finally bringing its award-winning European hatchback to the United States with a range of standard equipment, safety features and great fuel economy. The folks at KickingTires have found the 2008 Saturn Astra pricing on Saturn’s website rather than through the standard channels.
The base 2008 Saturn Astra XE with a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder VVT DOHC with 5-speed manual starts at $15,995 which oddly dosen’t include air condition. That means to stay cool on hot days you’ll have to cash out an extra $960, bringing the real total to $16,955.
The 2008 Saturn Astra is powered by a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 140 horsepower. Sales are expected to begin this fall.
