$1.6 Million Lambo has been sold out before Frankfurt debut

We reported last week that Lamborghini is planning on unveiling a $1.5 million supercar at the Pebble Beach Concours d”Elegance. While that never happened, internet chat forums are now buzzing word that a $1.6 million Lamborghini flagship will be on display at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September.

While the car never showed up at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Lamborghini President and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, showed a scale model and a video to a few selected dealers and VIP customers at Pebble Beach.

Details on the car are yet to be revealed, but chat forums are saying that styling was inspired by Lockheed Martin’s latest F22 Raptor fighter jet.

Reports claim that Lamborghini built only 20 examples of the car, all of which have already been sold. Interested buyers have reportedly handed over $300,000 deposits to own the super Lambo.
