GM is planning on spending more than $100 million on a marketing campaign for the new redesigned Chevrolet Malibu. GM is hoping that the $100 million ad budget for the Malibu will be enough for it to steal market share from rivals such as the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
While the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu debuted at the Detroit Auto Show in January, GM has been trying to hype the 2008 Malibu since last year. Have you felt the hype? We haven’t.
The 2008 Chevrolet Malibu will hit dealerships on November 1st, 2007. We think GM should keep a Camry and Accord at dealerships as it did with the Saturn Aura. Speaking of which, we wonder how that worked for them.
