Audi built 1 million engines in the first half of 2007

Audi Hungaria Motor announced today that it has set another engine record production during the first half of 2007. The company has produced 1 million engines in the first six months of this year due to the increase in production of the Audi TT and the Audi TT Roadster.

Audi Hungaria generated revenue of around EUR 2.45 billion during the first half of this year. Also joining the Audi Hungaria plant in Gyor will be the Audi A3 Cabriolet that is due out later next year.

Audi Hungaria is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AUDI AG and  has been one of the main engine suppliers of the Audi and the Volkswagen Group for twelve years.
