Ferrari chief says there will be no Dino

The blogsphere still seems to spreading rumors about the smaller and cheaper Ferrari Dino. Even after Ferrari killed the rumor at the 2006 LA Auto Show clearly saying “we are not developing a ‘cheap’ Ferrari.”

Well as rumors start once again, Ferrari chairman, Luca di Montezemolo, is confirming the same. Ferrari remains a profitable division at Fiat, and the Italian auto maker has no need for developing a cheaper Ferrari, di Montezemolo implied.

Ferrari has little interest in building a volume model, rather than building super cars priced over $200,000. The Italian auto maker rather leave that expansion room for Maserati and Alfa Romeo.
