Hyundai RWD Coupe to take on Infiniti G37: Convertible in the works
Well if you guys have been keeping up with Hyundai, you all know that the Korean company is working on a new coupe that will be built on the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Genesis. Well new information has just surfaced about Hyundai’s so called Infiniti G37 competitor.
According to a source from inside Hyundai said that the car will be the second, after Genesis, to use the company’s rear-wheel-drive platform.
“There will be a coupe off the Genesis,” the Hyundai source confirms. “It will come six months to a year after Genesis. It will be the replacement for the Tiburon.”
The source also said that Hyundai may also consider a convertible variant of the car after it debuts. Hyundai has previously confirmed that the car will carry a V6 engine.
