2008 MINI Clubman First Official Images

We are sure you’re tired of seeing spy shots of the MINI Clubman popping up here and there. Well, rest easy because MINI has just released the first official images along with the specs on the upcoming 5-door Clubman.

When the car hits markets in 2008, it will be equipped with one 1.6 liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and one regular 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine. The turbocharged engine will give the MINI Clubman S the ability to produce 175 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. The regular 1.6 will have the ability to produce 120 hp and 118 lb-ft of torque.

The 2008 MINI Clubman will be offered as a six-speed manual with a six-speed automotic as an option.

MINI is also offering a 1.6-liter common-rail diesel that produces 110 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. Of course, that’s only for Europe.

We expect a full press release within a few hours along with high-res pics, so keep checking in.
