Sources have told Automotive News that Mitsubishi will be unveiling a new small crossover at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. The new crossover is said to be a smaller alternative to the Mitsubishi Outlander.

Mitsubishi has confirmed the debut of the small crossover at Frankfurt but has declined to say whether or not it will be produced.

Sources are saying that the small crossover could go on sale in two years. If produced the car would compete with the likes of the Toyota RAV4.
