With sketch released last week, Ford of Europe will get an all-new crossover model in early 2008. The Ford Kuga, of which a preview model will be shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, will also be Ford’s first hyrid for Europe.
According to Automotive News, the near-production concept being shown at the Frankfurt show will carry a gasoline-electric powertrain.
The all-new Ford Kuga will go into production early in 2008 at Ford’s Saarlouis plant in Germany alongside the Focus. Sales will begin across Europe from Spring 2008.
