Spy Shots: Porsche 911 GT2 spotted in California desert

While we wait to see the Porsche 911 GT2 at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show in September, spies from our friends at CarMagazine have caught the beast doing some hot-weather testing in the California desert at 125 degrees Fahrenheit.

With a 3.6 liter boxter twin-turbo engine, the Porsche 911 GT2 produces 525 horsepower, giving it the ability to do 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph.

The car is expected to arrive in Europe in early 2008 with a price tag of £120,000.
