Spy Shots: 2008 Honda Accord V6 caught by vacationers

Last week you saw a couple of spy shots of the 2008 Honda Accord sedan and coupe fully undisguised. Today a couple of vacationers in Cape Cod came across the 2008 Honda Accord V6 hanging out in a parking lot.

The 2008 Honda Accord V6 is expected to be powered by a 3.5 liter engine producing 270 horsepower.

    Looks like a hideous mix of the Sonata and Camry…Honda finally managed to come out nowhere near the top in this class. Horrible, just horrible.

    If Honda modeled this close to the TSX or TL, they would have been money. I still cant believe this God awful design. This looks like something Ford would make.

    I have to agree with Failsafe Styl on this one.. What were they thinking? Right off the bat it looks like a Camry or something along that nature. I’ve always preferred the Accord over the Camry and the Civic over the Corolla but with this accord, it looks like a Camry.. and then the back end reminds me of a hyundai… now I don’t have anything against hyundai but come on.. Definitely should have been closer to a TL or something along the acura lineup.. Very Sad!

    The import car accessories of this Honda Accord are a total disaster… Character line does not line up with the window line, causing eye to strain…. The door handles are huge and the wheels are too small. The car will sell because of its name and customer base but visually there is nothing about it that makes it superior to Aura, Malibu or Altima. The car looks too much like a 5 series wannabe for my tastes. The side profile (esp. character line) is very BMW like but that is a negative for me. I am also a little confused by the generous use of chrome. Since when does Honda lather on lots of chrome trim?
