Accoring to sources over at GTChannel, Nissan’s Autech division has finalized designs on a retractable hardtop convertible 350Z. The car is expected to use the current chassis as a test mule.
GTChannel is saying that we could possible see a facelift of 350Z as early as this year’s Tokyo Auto Show in concept form. Sales of the redesigned Nissan 350Z will begin some time in 2009, leading to a confirmation of the retractable hardtop variant.
Nissan’s Autech division focuses primarily on vehicle conversions.
