Mercedes-Benz is set to unveil the next-generation Mercedes E-Class at the Geneva Motor Show coming up in March of 2009. According to auto motor und sport the 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will hardly grow in size but will closely resemble the style of the Mercedes CLS.

The most obvious change to the front of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be the square shaped headlamps that Mercedes replaced with the circular feel they used to have. On the inside, the 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class cockpit will have a mixture of the new S-Class and C-Class elements.

The car will have the usual V6 and V8 engines, along with a new 6.3 liter V8 engine for the E63 AMG that develops 550 or more horsepower.

A wagon variant of the E-Class will follow 6 months after the launch of the sedan.
