Greeks say provocative ads cause 10% of accidents

We really wonder how big of a problem this could actually be but apparently, racy ads showing scantily-clad models are so distracting to Greek drivers that a lawyer has launched a campaign to have them banned.

Lawyer, Athanasios Tsokos, who lost a son in a car accident that he believes was caused by a racy billboard, has launched a £8m claim to get provocative roadside advertising taken down.

According to The Guardian, an Athens traffic official, roadside adverts are responsible for 10% of all accidents in the capital.

makes sense. I think all roadside advertising should be banned. There are very few things you can do now days without getting advertised to in some way. Driving should be one of them, for safety reasons and just because they are so big and ugly
