2008 Pontiac G8 to cost under $35,000?

Ever since the 2008 Pontiac G8 made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show, many speculators have said that the car could cost over $40,000. Riding on GM’s new Zeta rear-wheel drive architecture, enthusiasts have said that they would be willing to cash out anywhere from $35k to $40k.

According to sources from TheGMSource, the all new 2008 Pontiac G8 is expected to come right under $35,000 so if you’re one of those willing to pay $40k, spend that $5k on something else.

The base model of the Pontiac G8 will have a 3.6 liter V6 engine with 261 horsepower while the higher GT model will have a 6.0 liter V8 which will produce 362 horsepower.
