2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sportcoupe to debut at Frankfurt

So now that the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has it the roads, Mercedes is out testing the C-Class Sportcoupe. Unfortunately, the C-Class Sportcoupe will be close to the theme of the outgoing model, which wasn’t that popular.

According to the photo rendering above, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sportcoupe will take front-end design cues from the new C-Class. When it debuts, the car is expected to have the same engine variants as the current model, but a range topping 3.5 liter V6 engine with 272 horsepower is also expected.

We’ve seen a photo rendering of a 2008 Mercedes C-Class coupe before, which we think would be a better route for Mercedes to go in order to compete with the BMW 3-Series coupe.
