Nissan to launch 3 minicars in the US next year

According to Japanese newspaper Nikkei, Nissan’s plan to bring three subcompact cars to the US has been green lighted. The subcompact cars are expected to make there way to the US by the end of next year. With the lauch of these three cars, Nissan is hoping to expand its lineup and compete with the likes of Toyota’s Scion.

The first of the three subcompact cars from Nissan is expected to be a US version of the Nissan Cube. Currently, the Nissan Cube is limited to the Japanese market, but a restyled version is expected by the end of next year for the international markets.
