Audi TT Clubsport quattro: Exclusive small series may be possible

Audi unveiled the new Audi TT Clubsport quattro last week and now according to German magazine, Stern, an exclusive small series may be in the works. According to Stern, Audi is seriously considering a small series of approximately 200 copies of the Audi TT Clubsport quattro.

Stern did not say whether the production version will close to the design of the Clubsport quattro nor did they give a time frame.

The Audi TT Clubsport quattro is said to be inspired by Porsche’s 356 Speedster. The car has no hood, no a-post - instead, a wraparound windscreen kept extremely low. It is powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine that produces 300 horsepower and is mated with a S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox. The Audi TT Clubsport quattro also has ceramic brakes offered in the RS 4 and A8 and rides on 20-inch wheels.
