
BMW, maker of BMW brand cars, MINIs and Rolls Royce vehicles, said today that sales increased 3 percent in April with a total of 118,456 cars sold. The 3 percent increase included a 0.5 percent increase of BMW brand sales with 100,141 vehicles sold, and a 19.2 increase in the MINI brand with 18,263 vehicles sold.
The world’s largest premium auto maker hopes to increase sales throughout the year with the launch of the new 3-Series convertible and the revised 2008 1-Series and 5-Series.
BMW is aiming to sell 1.4 million BMWs, Minis and Rolls Royces in 2007.
