While the 2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is still two years away, WorldCarFan’s spies have managed to get details on the car before its debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Sharing design from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the new 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the 2009 E-Class will have larger bumpers, a wide-frame grille, more geometric air intakes in the front, and C-Class style headlamps and taillights.

Code named the W212, the car will have the usual V6 and V8 engines, along with a new 6.3 liter V8 engine for the E63 AMG that develops 500 or more horsepower.
