Spy Shots: Lincoln MKS Sedan

We reported last week that Ford’s luxury brand Lincoln is finally showing some sign of life after having an increase of 8.1 percent year-to-date with a 6 percent increase in deliveries in March. While the Lincoln MKX crossover and the MXZ contributed greatly to the increase in sales, Lincoln is really putting its money on the MKS sedan.

Based on the Mazda6 the MKS concept made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show and while this prototype is heavily disguised you can tell it remains close to its concept version. The only thing spy photographer KGP saw that was different on the prototype as compared to the MKS concept was the grille. He said that the grille on the MKS prototype seems to resemble that of the beautiful MKR concept.

Also, instead of the V8 engine that debut in the MKS concept, Lincoln will now use a V6 helping it cut cost in development. Check out the shots over at WindingRoad.
