It seems Porsche needs to spend a little more money than it planned on the Panamera. The company will be spending a quarter more than it had originally planned in order expand its Leipzig plant where it will begin producing the four-dour Porsche Panamera coupe next year.
While there is no official word on the specs of the Panamera the four-door coupe is expected to have a V6 engine producing up to 300 horsepower and a V8 engine producing up to 350 horsepower. Another V8 twin-turbo engine is also expected producing up to 560 horsepower for the ‘S’ model.
The car will be unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show with 20,000 units scheduled per year.
