New York Auto Show: Dodge Demon makes its North American Debut

We’re still cleaning out our cameras from the 2007 NYIAS, so expect to see some more images and news from the show. One car we were definitely excited to see was the Dodge Demon Roadster concept. Dodge unveiled the Demon Roadster concept in Geneva but brought it to the United States for the first time ever at the 2007 New York Auto Show. Powered by a 2.4 liter engine that produces 172 horsepower with a six-speed manual transmission, the Dodge Demon Roadster has a rear-wheel drivetrain and a torque of 165 lb-ft

Once in a full production version, and we hope that happens soon, the Dodge Demon will definitely give its American rivals, Ford’s Mazda MX-5 and GM’s Saturn Sky, a tough competition.
