The name alone spells out the ultimate driving pleasure: the BMW M3. And now the new version of BMW M GmbH's most successful high-performance sports car, bmw racing parts bears out this claim once again, at the same time providing a thrilling answer to the question asked by so many sports car fans around the world whether a further improvement is still possible at all.

The new BMW M3 is not the first M3 with a V-8 engine, as you stated on the web site. That honor goes to the 2001 M3 GTR powered by a 4.0-liter V-8. It is a road-going version of the M3 GTR racecar that won the 2001 American Le Mans Series GT2 category, the 2004 and 2005 24 Hours of the Nürburgring and raced in the 2001 European Le Mans Series. Although only 10 examples of the $220,000 car were built, it qualifies as the first M3 with a V-8 engine.
