New York Auto Show: Lexus brings IS-F to New York

We know that the Lexus IS-F made its debut in the United States at the Detroit Auto Show, but when we were passing it, we couldn’t take our eyes off of the bright blue sexy looking F’ed up car. . The Lexus IS-F has a 5.0 liter V8 engine that produces more than 400 horsepower and 350 ft-lbs. of torque giving the car the ability to do 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. Only 1,000 will be built for the United States, so we expect this baby to sell out fast.

    Nice car. No need for vents in front fender. They are horrible looking. Biggest turn off of the car! I would not buy it just for the reason. Think of all the dirt, and gunk thats going to come shooting up from the tires.

    Saw it in the NYC NAIAS and was not impressed. The ugly bulgy hood makes it look like a PT Cruiser. Lexus is still missing the point with its overly complex designs. It’s simply trying too hard to go brom boring to exciting and completely missing the mark and landing in ‘Ugly Complexia’.
