The BMW 1-Series coupe is expected to debut this Summer with sales to begin 2008. Here the BMW 1-Series was caught testing outside the BMW headquarters in Munich. The car’s black top in the picture hints at a convertible version which will debut after the coupe goes on sale. The BMW 1-Series coupe is expected to share much of the European hatchback version with a four-cylinder 155 horsepower engine to debut first.

BMW will also launch a 3.0 liter six-cylinder that produces 265 horsepower. Of course, we’d rather much see the hatchback come to the U.S., but we guess you can’t be too greedy. Oh well, check out the shots over at AutoExpress.
