Mitsubishi is delaying their debut of the next EVO, mostly due to the concern that they might get overlooked at the Tokyo Auto Show by the new Nissan Skyline GT-R. Mitsubishi will now be debuting the next generation EVO at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Japanese cars mainly make their debuts at the Japanese auto shows, but Mitsubishi doesn’t want to loose the spotlight to the GT-R.
That means no EVO for the United States until January 2008.
