Extremely ugly headlights are a huge turn off for me to buy this vehicle. Everything else is perfect, it's just these ugly headlights that create an image of a clowny looking bimbo personality kind of vehicle that doesn't make a lasting impression. Take for an example the new Touareg SUV, it's headlights are showing a clear message “i am the trail master, i can go anywhere i want” serious kind of expression. Nissan X-trail designers miserably failed with its “funny” headlights expression. Car buyers like myself need to respect the “eye expression” as one of those critical elements which help us make the final buying decision.
I guess i'll be waiting for the new Honda diesel SUV that rumors say will be released in early in 2010. Wish Nissan made a more respectable SUV but i guess they don't care about buyers like myself.
