Report: Volkswagen to adopt Audi’s ways

Volkswagen is looking to make more new models while reducing cost and to do that it is looking at taking some lessons from it’s premium brand, Audi. Automotive News reports that Volkswagen will learn some new tricks from Audi using their modular architecture strategy. The company is looking to reduce development times by a year and significantly expand its portfolio, said new development boss, Ulrich Hackenberg.
It was just rumored that Volkswagen is already working on a small, cheap and high-performance car for emerging markets like Russia, India and China.
