Mercedes gets 40,000 Europe orders for redesigned 2008 C-Class

DaimlerChrysler said today that it has already received 40,000 orders from Europe for the new 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Automotive News reports. The car will be in European dealerships later this month. The 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will come in a basic C180 compressor and C320 model, along with a high performance 450 horsepower C63 AMG.
The outgoing model sold more than 2 million units since its debut in March 2000.
