Audi prices 2008 TT coupe & roadster

Audi today announced the pricing for its new 2008 Audi TT lineup. The 2008 Audi TT Coupe 2.0T models will start at $34,800 with the 3.2 quattro models beginning at $41,500. The 2008 Audi TT Roadster 2.0T models will have a base price of $36,800 while the 3.2 quattro Roadsters will start at $44,500. The TT 3.2 models equipped with S tronic gearboxes have a base price $1,400 higher than manual transmission cars. The $720 destination charge is not included in the pricing.

The Audi TT 2.0T models will have a 2.0 TFSI engine that will produce 200 horsepower with a six-speed S tronic gearbox. The 3.2 quattro models will have a V6 engine and quattro all-wheel drive producing 250 horsepower.

Standard option include automatic climate control, Audi Concert audio system with in-dash CD changer with MP3 capability, 17” alloy wheels, electromechanical power steering, keyless entry, cruise control and a leather-wrapped flat-bottom sport steering wheel as well as Alcantara-covered sport seats.

Other option that may cost you a few dollars include 18” alloy wheels, a DVD-based navigation system with two slots for SD memory cards, Bluetooth, Bose premium sound with Sirius satellite radio, iPod interface, Audi parking system, Bi-Xenon adaptive headlights and Baseball-optic leather interior.

The S line package gives you a more aggressive front and rear styling and 19” alloy wheels with performance tires and special interior leather trim. You can also go for the Enhanced Interior package which includes Nappa leather covered seats and leather covered interior trip components.

Both the 2008 Audi TT coupe and the roadster will hit showroom in April.
