My Avensis d4d 177cv has the same enging and consumes 0’3 oil litres/ 1000 km. Toyota says that it is normal (up to 1 litre/1000 km). I spend 12 euros oil for 3000 km. Why a diesel if it is more expensive? I’ll never buy another Toyota. I promise.
