I have had 7 hondas and 2 chevy suburbans. My brother has owned SEVERAL GM's and never has them for longer than 3 years and still has little issues within the first three years. My Honda's I keep them for about 150k miles and nothing actually goes wrong with the vehicle. All I do is the routine maintence and it's all good. Now on the other hand my 2 suburbans my 98 had a starter solenoid go out at 60k miles and the exhaust donut needed replacement at 52k miles. On my 01 they had to do several suspension replacements because everytime I turned the suspension would POP. Luckliy I bought the extended warranty because that happened at around 38k miles. Not only that but I have had over 5 recalls on my suburban whereas I have only had 1 recall on my current honda. My brother bought an H2 and they had to replace the transmission because it was failing. His wife bought a chevy astro and traded it in within a year because within a year it started squeeking everywhere. The leather is also better made in my hondas than in my chevys. At around 90k miles my chevy leather starts wearing holes whereas my honda leather doesn't show that same wear for about 150k. Don't get me wrong I still like chevy products but the bottom line is that the honda product is just better built overall. If honda made a Suburban equivalent I would purchase that over the suburban for the wife because I know it would last longer and have a MUCH better resale. Well I can surely believe this survey. Now i don't believe those surveys anymore since it's clear it's just a way japanese producer pay magazines to get good press or just to decide where to put money for their ads. sorry You are not believable anymore.
