BBC has released some images of Richard Hammond’s famous car crash where he was driving the “Vampire,” a jet powered car. During a test run on the airfield the car overturned at 280 mph. Since then, Richard Hammond has made full recovery and will be returning to the show when the new season begins. Hammond recently appeared on British talk show where discussed his experience during recovery from the crash and post-recovery. After seeing these images from BBC we’re glad Richard made it out alive and we hope to see you soon back in a car and pushing them to their limits.
