Finally Volkswagen has realized that it needs to reduce pricing for some its base models. Volkswagen shoppers will now be able to buy a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit for $15,620 as compared to the $16,660 Golf. The 2007 Beetle drops about $690 while Volkswagen’s most popular model, Jetta, drops to just over $17,000 for the 2007 model as compared the 2006 $18,530 price. God bless them for getting rid of the Phaeton from the US.
