2007 Ford and Airstream Team up for Concept

Ford and Airstream have teamed up for a new concept that Ford is saying is the “cross-over model for the future.” The Ford Airstream Concept shows off the company’s HySeries Drive plug-in Hydrogen fuel cell engine that delivers a combined city/highway fuel economy of 41 mpg. The car can run 25 miles before fuel cells are used with the 336-vold lithium-ion battery pack. Let’s hope if that if this ever makes it to producion that Ford and Airstream get rid of the chrome look so other drivers aren’t blinded by the sight of it.
