It is being reported that Mercedes Benz has filed for the CLC-Class trademark. Speculations for what the C in the CLC-Class could stand for vary from a two door version of the very popular Mercedes Benz CLS four-door coupe, to a convertible CL which is the coupe version of the S-Class. The Mercedes CLC car will most likely be based off the Ocean Drive concept that the company will unveil officially at the NAIAS at Detroit. The Mercedes Ocean Drive Concept rides on a V12 engine from a Mercedes S600 and also has a similar platform as the S600.
