Toyota To Sell 9.35 Million Cars in 2007

Toyota is setting its goals high. The company has reportedly said that it is aiming to sell 9.35 million cars worldwide in the year of 2007. That figure is half a million more cars than the company sold in 2006. 8.5 million of the 9.35 million vehicles projected will be under the Toyota brand alone, the rest will come from Toyota subsidiaries. Toyota’s track record for the past 3 years has been pretty impressive by beating Ford in 2003 and selling a total of 8.13 million cars worldwide in 2005. Toyota will announces it production plans this coming Friday.
