Police are writing tickets to people who leave their car running and unattended even if the car is parked in their own driveway. The first state police to start the ticketing of running and unattended vehicles is Washington in the city of Kennewick. Stolen cars cost the police time and money that they rather spent protecting and serving other important cases. So if you leave your car running in your driveway, expect a $66 ticket. if you leave it running in public some where, get ready to cash out $101.
