Audi is planning to invest a total of 11.8 Billion Euros in order to expand its model lineup, between the years of 2006 and 2011. Audi will invest a total of 8.4 billion Euros, of the 11.8, in the development of new vehicles alone. The company is planning to expand their portfolio from the existing 22 models to a total of 40 by 2015. Investing will start 2 billion Euros a year beginning in 2007. Audi will be launching new models in 2007 including the recently announced Audi R8, Audi TT and the new upcoming Audi A5 Coupe.
