2008 Land Rover LR2 Launched

Land Rover unveiled the new 2008 LR2 at the LA Auto Show, a car that is supposed to replace the compact Freelander. The Land Rover LR2 has a inline 6 cylinder engine that pushes 230 horsepower giving the car the ability to do 0-60 in 8.4 seconds. The car has an automatic six-speed automatic transmission with manual gearchanges along with sports mode for a more sporty performance.

Cool factor features include adaptive bi-xenon headlights, two part panoramic sunroof, start/stop engine button, rain sensing wipers and a Dolby Pro Logic II 7.1 surround sound with 14 speakers and an in-dash six-disc CD changer. Oh, and if you plan on going off-road, which we highly doubt, Land Rover’s Terrain Response system and all-wheel-drive give you some nice off-road performance.
