New Key Fob from GMGM will be introducing a new key fob in April 2007 that does more than just unlock cars. The key fob from GM will have an LCD display that will show you information such as odometer reading, tire pressure, fuel level and other information about your car. It will also allow the drivers to change the radio settings and give them the ability to start the car with the fob if they go for the GM remote start package. The new key fob will first sell as option with GM SUVs such as the Cadillac Escalade and will later be spread across other model lineups. The key fob will cost $150 and GM says it will cost less than $100 to replace.

I can;t wait for this option! Too bad I can’t afford Escalade, but once it comes to the CTS or Buicks, then we’re talkin! I like your site BTW.
