Smart ForTwo Finally Coming to US in 2008

Smart has finally joined forces with United Auto Group Inc to bring the Smart ForTwo to the United State as early as 2008. The Smart ForTwo has a fuel economy of 40 mpg and is expected to cost less than $15,000. So for all the Smart Cars available in the US have been private imports. Mercedes’ Car Group President Ulrich Walker has signed a distributor agreement with United Auto Chairman Roger Penske this past Wednesday.
