Toyota today officially launched the 2007 Toyota Auris, the hatchback version of the Corolla, in Europe and Japan. The 2007 Toyota Auris will be launched in several engine choices including a 1.4 WT-i producing 97 horsepower and a 1.6 Dual WT-i producing 122 horsepower. It will also come in three diesel choices including a 1.4 pushing 89 horsepower, 2.0 pushing 124 horsepower and a 2.2 D-4D pushing 174 horsepower.

The 2007 Toyota Auris will come in a three or five-door body style and will have a six-speed manual, automatic and MultiMode system with paddle shifting controls as transmission choices.
