The popularity of hybrid vehicles will depends on whether or not US auto sales increase beyond its current levels, according to a statement from Audi engineer Marius Lehna made to Reuters. He said that the company will only produce a hybrid range only if the market improves because of unpredictable trends in the industry. If all falls into place, Audi will aim to launch a Audi Q7 hybrid by 2008.
