Toyota to Delay Corolla Launch

Toyota is supposedly pushing back the North American launch of its new Corolla from 2007 to 2008, reports Nihon Keizai Shimbun. The Japanese automaker is doing this in order to maintain quality. Usually Toyota takes two years to bring their new models overseas but decided to cut the gap to one year this year. Nonetheless, the company still decided to delay the launch to prioritize quality.
