Gemballa, a Porsche tuner, is offering a kit for the Porsche 911 Turbo that increases the cars horsepower to 500 and increases the cars aerodynamics. The Turbo GT550 gets a new front spoiler, new side skirts, air inlets, a new and large rear wing plus a large main spoiler to create downforce. The Gemballa Turbo GT550 does 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds and 3.6 seconds in overboost.
Volvo today unveiled three new customized versions of the C30 hatchback. The Volvo Evolve, Heico and IPD are on display this week at the SEMA Auto Show. The Volvo Evolve C30 (the blue C30) produces 507 horsepower along with its giant brakes, race-suspension, huge tires and a twin turbo engine. The Volvo Heico C30 (the silver C30) is a product of a joint collaboration with German tuner Heico Sportiv and Burton Snowboads. The Heico C30 produces 300 horsepower with adjustable suspension, custom Toyo tires and a portable GPS system. Finally the Volvo IPD C30 produces 384 horsepower with a touch screen center heads-up display and gull wing style doors.
We just brought you spy shots of the Audi A5 during its tests at the Nürburgring track in Germany, and today CarScoop has scooped some pictures of the A5 during test runs in Paris. They are saying that from the looks of these spy shots the BMW 3-Series Coupe competitor is one step away from production and will be built on the Audi A4 platform. We were reporting that the engines will be a 3.0 liter TDI V6 and a 3.2 liter FSI V6 producing 255 horsepower, but CarScoop is saying that we will see a 2.0 TFSI, 2.8 V6 FSI & 3.6 FSI. The Audi A5 is due out in the in the summer of 2007 with cabrio version to be released in 2008.
The Jaguar XK has been spotted again but this time with a new facelift the Jaguar XK will have a more friendlier look to the front. The car recieves a newley shaped air-intake front bumper. The Jaguar XK is expected to be launched that the Geneva Show next March.
Nissan has begun production of the all new 2007 Nissan Altima at its Mississippi plant. The company also announced pricing on the upcoming model with the base 2.5 liter 6-speed manual version starting at $17,950. The 2.5 S with 6 speed manual will sell for $19,800 while the 2.5 S CVT will go for $20,300. The 3.5 liter V6 SE version 6 speed will sell for $24,000 while the 3.5 liter V6 SE with CVT will sell for $24,500. Finally the high-end 2007 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL with CVT will sell for $28,400. Nissan is also saying that the hybrid pricing for the Altima will be announced later. No word on the spy Nissan Coupe we saw a couple days ago.

Besides making people laugh on his late night TV show, Jay Leno is a huge car enthusiast and just collaborated with GM’s design team to build a new concept vehicle called the EcoJet. The GM EcoJet is a jet-turbine powered supercar that runs on bio-diesel and produces about 650 horsepower. The EcoJet was unveiled at the SEMA Auto Show by Jay Leno and Ed Welburn, vice president of GM Global design team.
Volkswagen today released official images of the Golf GTI Edition 30 and unlike the concept version the car is riding on some different set of wheels. The Golf GTI Edition 30 has a the same 2.0 liter four-cylinder T-FSI engine as the regular GTI but has a little more juice giving the car a of total of 230 horsepower, up from 200 on the standard. The car is available in a DSG gearbox or a six-speed manual and has the ability to do 0-62 mph in 6.8 seconds in manual and 6.6 seconds with DSG.
Here are some images of the new 2007 John Cooper Works special edition Mini Cooper. The kit includes sport side sills, a new rear and front design, 19 inch wheels, new brakes, rear spoiler and carbon fiber throughout the car. Inside the 2007 John Cooper Works special edition Mini Cooper gets sporty seats along with chequered floor mats.
No this isn’t a tuner car, its actually a Lexus IS250 created by Lexus for the upcoming Australian International Motor Show. With a shiny silver chrome-like paintwork, this Lexus IS250 has a Lexus designed body kit with a front lower spoiler, side and rear skirts and a rear spoiler. The car also rides on black aluminum wheels.

BMW today announced the official details on the upcoming 2007 BMW 3-Series Convertible that will go on sale in the beginning of next year. Like the 2007 BMW 3-Series coupe the convertible will also come in two models including the 328i and the 335i, which will push 306 horsepower and have a 0-62 mph in 5.4 seconds. This is the first BMW 3-Series to come in a three-piece electronically-operated retractable hard top.
Looking to compete with the BMW 6-Series, Audi is developing an all new model based on its Audi Nuvolari concept car and will be badging it as an A5. The car was caught testing at the famous Germany NĂĽrburgring track in heavy rain. The size of the Audi A5 will be somewhere between the Audi A4 and A6. It will be available in a coupe as well as a convertible and is expected to come in two engines including a 3.0 liter TDI V6 and a 3.2 liter FSI V6 producing 255 horsepower.
Roush, a popular tuner for Ford cars is putting together three new kits for the Mustang GT500. The bottom of the line Cold Air Kit gives the GT500 45 more horsepower. The 2.3 liter kit adds another 120 horsepower and 88-lb.-ft. torque. Finally the top of the line kit will give the Mustang GT500 engine a total of 700 horsepower giving it 200 more horses than the stock engine. Pricing and availability have not yet been released.

Toyota today officially launched the 2007 Toyota Auris, the hatchback version of the Corolla, in Europe and Japan. The 2007 Toyota Auris will be launched in several engine choices including a 1.4 WT-i producing 97 horsepower and a 1.6 Dual WT-i producing 122 horsepower. It will also come in three diesel choices including a 1.4 pushing 89 horsepower, 2.0 pushing 124 horsepower and a 2.2 D-4D pushing 174 horsepower.
