Mercedes-Benz today announce that all of its 2008 model year SUVs will be offered with a Bluetec diesel engine in the US, including the M-Class, GL-Class and the R-Class. Mercedes has had some difficulty getting EPA certification and failing to meet emissions standards in some states with its E320 Bluetec, a diesel version of the E-Class. Mercedes is now claiming that its engines will meet requirements for the 2008 model year.
