Audi R8 Priced & Rumors of Cabrio Version

Auto Motor Und Sport is reporting that the new Audi R8 will have a price tag of 104,400 Euros for the standard manual version, which puts us at $135,000 US. The R-Tronic version of the Audi R8 will start selling at 111,790. Upgrades include stylish 5-spoke wheels (shown in images) for 1540 Euros, navigation system for 2,270 Euros, Bang & Olufsen audio for 1,440 and carbon interior will cost between 2,000 and 3,000 Euros. There are also rumors of a Cabrio version of the Audi R8 due out in 2009, of which artist renderings have been made by Road & Track (image after the jump).

New Rolls Royce Model in 4 Years

Rolls Royce is announcing that a new model will be introduced within the next 4 years. Designed by a design team, head by Ian Cameron, will be working on the car which will be a new four-door model that will sell at a price below the Phantom and will be priced between 230,000 Euros and 330,000 Euros. Currently BMW offers only one Rolls Royce model, the Phantom. Rolls Royce will also be introducing a new convertible model that will be unveiled in 2007.

More Hummer Models Coming Soon

.Bob Lutz, Vice Chairman, told reporters at the opening of Hummer’s new dealership in Paris. “Hummer needs some more products. It needs two or three more products to give it sufficient market coverage. Some of the Hummer models we might see, according to Lutz, include a small Hummer set to compete against the Jeep Wrangler and a long-bed pickup truck.

Aston Martin Shows off V8 Vantage Paddle Shifting

As we reported late last week, Aston Martin has added paddle shifting to its V8 Vantage sports car called Sportshift. The Sportshift option allows gear changing up to three times faster than that of a manual transmission. A feature called “Comfort” mode offers a more relaxed gear change depending on driving conditions with a touch of a button on the center console.

Lamborghini today unveiled the Lamborghini Murcielago LP460 Versace. The car is a special edition version of the new LP460 Murcielago and has the same 6.5 liter V12 engine. The Lamborghini Murcielago LP460 Versace has a white exterior with black alloy wheels along with a matching white and black Versace designed interior.

2007 Toyota Yaris TS Announced

Toyota today announced the Toyota Yaris TS. The car is a high-performance version of the compact hatchback. The Toyota Yaris TS features a 1.8 liter pertrol engine with Dual WT-i and produces 130 horsepower. The 0-62 mph on the Toyota Yaris TS is achieved at 9.3 seconds with a top speed of 120 mph. Exterior redesign includes a deeper bumper, darkened headlamps, chrome sports exhaust pipe, 17 inch allow wheels, integrated fog lamps in the rear and front bumper and TS badging. Toyota has also given the Yaris TS better handling, steering and suspension.

Volvo C30 Coming to the US

Volvo today announced that it will offer the Volvo C30 hatchback in the United States and Canada no later than 2008 model year. The announcement was made 9 months after the Volvo C30 debut at the 2006 North American International Auto Show. The Volvo C30 hatchback carries T5 engine producing 218 horsepower. We’re assuming Volvo is making this move to compete with BMW’s 1 Series which is also rumored to hit North American Markets in the summer of 2007. Check out more images via this link.

No New BMW M3 Until September Next Year

We are pretty sad to report this but BMW’s M division boss, Ulrich Bruhnke, is saying that BMW fans will have to wait until September of next year to get a look at the new M3. Bruhnke said that the new 2008 BMW M3 will be unveiled at the 2008 Frankfurt Motor show with its world launch also in 2008. Rumor had it that BMW would be unveiling the much anticipated car at the Paris Motor Show, but so far it’s a no show.

Toyota today at the Paris Motor Show Unveiled the Toyota Auris Concept. While Toyota has not confirmed it, it is widely believed that the Auris Concept is supposed to preview the 2007 / 2008 Toyota Corolla. The Toyota Auris Concept features 19 inch alloy wheels, freeform geometric lamps, integrated chrome exhausts in its bumper and a panoramic glass sunroof.

2007 Ford Iosis X Concept Unveiled

Ford of Europe has shown off the 2007 Iosis X Concept car at the Paris Motor Show. While its obvious that the Iosis X Concept is highly unlikely to become a production model but it shows that Ford is looking to change up design in the European market. Ford is saying that “We’re calling this car Iosis X as a deliberate link to our ‘kinetic design’ concept car lineage started last year,” said Martin Smith, Ford of Europe’s Executive Design Director.

Renault Koleos Concept Shown at Paris

After showing the outstanding (a bit unrealistic) Twingo concept, Renault today showed off the Koleos Concept at the Paris Motor Show. The Renault Koleos Concept is a sneak peak of the all-wheel drive SUV Renault will launch in 2008. The car was produced with Nissan and has a 2.0 dCi common rail turbo diesel engine with a six-speed manual transmission producing 180 horsepower. The car also features a panoramic glass roof, a navigation system, ETC (electronic traction control) and LED backlighting.

Carlsson CK60: Carlsson Tunes Over CL-Class

We’ve been waiting for this tuner version of the Mercedes Benz CL-Class. Carlsson, our favorite Mercedes Benz tuner, got their hands on the CL 600, and gave it a bi-turbo V12 engine that produces 600 horsepower and torque of 740 ft-lbs. The Carlsson CK60 has a 0-62 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a adjustable suspension system that Carlsson calls C-tronic. Carlsson never seems to disappoint us.
