Upgraded Mazda RX-8 hits Japan

Mazda just unveiled the upgraded RX-8 for the Japanese market. The upgraded Mazda RX-8 gets a new six-speed automatic transmission replacing the previous four-speed slushbox. The six-speed automatic is only available in the Mazda RX-8 Type E, the RX-8 Type S only comes in a six-speed manual. It is available for sale now in Japan.
